The members from the club made their first venture to the UKIPT Brighton this weekend
5 players had won sats at the club into the main event and we had some other players paying their own way in to the main and side events
from a small representation of players we had some great results
2 Players (Carl Toon and Mark Smith ) both finished 12th in their relative £100 buy events on Wednesday and Thursday
Also on Wednesday Andy Croker won the Turbo event and that acheivment was repeated the day after when Lefteris Sergidis won the same event
no one unfortunately into day 2 from the main event qualifiers , but Mark smith followed up his Wednesday cash with afantastic 25th from over 600 runners , unluckly going out with AK V AQ ,when a queen flopped
on the whole a great performance and players now have got the taste for the bigger events
The next UKIPT is in Edinburgh and we will be running sats for that, Please see the Specials section in the card room for details
